Bluetooth Motorcycle Intercoms for Helmets

We've been NZ's motorcycle intercom specialists since 2009.   Today we proudly supply a range of Bluetooth intercoms from SENA as well as accessories from IASUS.

Want a reliable in helmet intercom that just works with no bells and whistles?  SENA has models that are designed for single rider or rider to pillion with simple to use features right up to long range mesh** intercoms with inbuilt cameras so you can capture your ride and share with your buddies.

All intercoms use Bluetooth.  That means that they all can connect with your phone / GPS / radar etc.  Higher price buys you more features and more range between 2 units.  You can have 2 dissimilar units connected but the range will be limited by the shortest range of the 2 (i.e. a 500m unit and a 1.6km unit will be limited to 500m when paired).

** What is a mesh intercom?

"Mesh Intercom operates as an adaptive and autonomous wireless technology from Sena that is self-organizing, self-healing, and self-optimizing which makes communication with each other as easy as possible.

Intercom connections are also now more stable than ever with Sena’s new Mesh Intercom technology. When one the riders in a group goes out of range, the rest of the group remains seamlessly connected while the 30K still intelligently searches for the lost connection and reconnects automatically once they are back in range.

Simply press the Mesh Intercom Button to turn the Mesh Intercom feature on and when in Public Mode (default mode), you will be automatically and instantaneously connected to a virtually limitless amount of 30K users within a mile range."

In other words the signal bounces between the individual user in the mesh network so that the person right at the front can talk to everyone including the person at the back - the range is extended as the gap between the riders increases (like pulling on a sheet of mesh) so long as the gap between the riders remains within range.  If not then that rider / riders drop out of the network.
