RAM bases suitable for Aviation use.
Please remember that once you permanently mount something to your precious plane that the fine folks at CAA may in their wisdom deem this to be a "mod" - so have a check on the regulations.
Single suction cup mounts are fine for lightweight devices such as phone or handheld GPS units. The larger the device and the more bumps it's going to get then think about more suction cups - dual and triple suction cup bases are available.
The "retention knob" arms are designed for aviation use so that the user can tighten or loosen the knob on the arm without having to reach round behind the tablet.
If you aren't able to find a place to mount that EFB in your aircraft, or if you swap aircraft often, consider the RAM leg mount - which comes in tilting and non-tilting versions - it's a kneepad for your EFB. Never find yourself on short finals with the EFB lost somewhere in the cockpit again!
