The RAM-238U consists of a 38mm (1.5") diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 61 x 33mm (2.43 x 1.31") diamond base. The base has two holes 48.5mm (1.912") from centre to centre and matches the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. It is designed to connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles.

Q: Does this SKU include the hardware needed to bolt it to a flat surface?

A: No, the hardware required to install this mount is not included. Because these are mounted to such a wide variety of materials and applications we do not know what hardware to provide. The best resource for that type of information is usually a local hardware store or the manufacturer of the vehicle you are mounting to.

Q: What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?

A: The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.
