This is a leg Mount / Knee-board mounting base for Tablets. Turn your tablet computer into an electronic knee-board. Simply add one of these adjustable leg mounting kits and either an iPad or iPad Mini specific cradle or a Ram X-Grip universal tablet mount and you're away.


Suits whatever tablet or EFB you use - Apple iPad, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Phablets or similar. To make the complete mounting solution you will also requires a device specific cradle. Specific cradles shown in some images are not included and must be purchased separately.


The kit legs you use it as a flat or angled knee-board in both portrait and landscape orientation. No more fumbling in turbulence. It's rock solid and will transform cockpit management.


This comes with the snap-link diamond base adaptor which has the 2 hole AMPS pattern common to many smaller RAM cradles for phones / phablets. For larger tablets wither use the 2 Hole Pattern for tilt function or the leg mount will mount directly onto the back of any RAM tablet cradle without the Snap link adaptor.

Personally I have been using one of these as a tablet holder for light plane flying for years and it really does help with cockpit organisation. Another advantage of these is that you can more quickly swap between aircraft as opposed to mounts that attach to the aircraft! If you use an aircraft with a yoke (as opposed to side or centre stick) you might want to consider the non-titling version RAM-BM-LA1U so that there is no risk of hindering "full and free" control movement.
