Clamp and Grip Bases
This section has RAM's selection of bases that are suitable for rods, bars, poles and awkward surfaces.
You'll find roll bar, handle-bar, semi-permanent mounts and quick-release clamps such as the Tough-Clamp and Tough-Claw ranges.
Square-Clamp bases are ideal for mounting to a square or rectangular bar or post - such as the posts or overhead guard of a forklift. To install you will need allen keys and a socket set or spanners.
The Tough-Claw allows you to quickly install and remove the clamp with no tools and provides a tightening knob, they come in a variety of sizes and B and C ball sizes.
The Tough Clamp has a very strong spring system that allows for fast, tool-less installation of a very stable base.
Yoke Clamps are a "G" clamp design that will attach to round or flat surfaces, with no tools required. They can solve some of those tricky mounting situations as well as providing a stable EFB base when used on the yoke of an aircraft.
There are solutions for bolting to the brake / clutch reservoir on a motorbike and plenty of options for round bars as well as yoke clamps which are designed for aircraft control yokes but can clamp to any small round post or bar.
