Where are you based?

Unlike some of our competitors, we are a genuinely New Zealand based business, more importantly, if something is listed for sale on our website then we have it in stock in our warehouse in Mangere, Auckland.


How long will my order take to be dispatched?

Orders placed and paid for prior to midday Monday-Friday will usually be dispatched the same working day. 

Orders placed after midday will be dispatched the next business day.


What is your usual shipping method?

We use Courier Post economy courier service with a SIGNATURE REQUIRED upon delivery. Please ensure that you provide us with an address that will have someone there to sign for your package.  


Can I have my package delivered non-signature required?

Yes you can.  Please get in touch with us at support@thegadgetguys.co.nz to arrange this.  Be aware that our responsibility for the package ends when the courier delivers it to your site, so if it is stolen we will not replace it.  Courier Post take a GPS snapshot of each package delivery to confirm the location that it has been left at.


How long will my delivery take?

The service is overnight to North Island main centres and usually 1-3 days to most South Island destinations.  Rural delivery can take longer depending upon your NZ Post service schedule.  If your order was placed over the weekend or after 12 o'clock (noon) then add an extra day to this.


My package hasn't arrived yet.  What do I do?

We send an email out when your package has been packed and assigned a courier tracking number.  Please use this tracking number and visit the Courier Post tracking page to check your parcel's location.  Most of the time the courier has tried to deliver your package and been unable to do so.  If this is the case then there will ba a 'Card to Call' left by the courier and the tracking updates online will show this.

Calling Courier Post will usually resolve this issue.  

If the tracking details have a different error message then please get in contact with us to help resolve the issue.


Can I return my item?

Yes, we do accept returned, unused items in original sealed condition at our discretion.  We do charge a restock fee and will charge for missing small parts such as screws and to repackage opened items.  For more information please see our Returns Page and Terms and Conditions page for full details and conditions.
