The yoke clamp base has a 1" rubber ball positioned at a right angle to the plane of the mount; when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. The patented rubber ball and socket system allows you to move the mount to your optimum viewing position. This clamp is crafted to hold firmly to most glare shields, yokes, or tubing, practically any aircraft or vehicle can benefit from this product.
