This reverse-configuration base is purpose-built for right-hand-drive vehicles, making it the correct choice for New Zealand fitouts, and pairs with RAM's spring-loaded Tough-Tray™ to hold 10"–17" laptops securely on the move.

Is this the right-hand-drive version? Yes — RAM-VB-196-1-SW1 is the reverse-configuration base, recommended for right-hand-drive vehicles. For left-hand-drive vehicles, use the standard RAM-VB-196-SW1 instead.
What size laptops does it fit? The included Tough-Tray™ holds laptops from 10" to 17" (measured diagonally), with adjustable arms to suit varying thicknesses.
Can I add a screen support or USB light? Yes — both are available as optional accessories and attach via the tray's perimeter hole pattern (sold separately).
