The RAM-202-24-B-202U, powder coated marine grade aluminum mount, consists of a short double socket arm mount, one round 2.5" diameter round base with the universal AMPS hole pattern and one 2" x 4" rectangular base. The unique rubber ball and socket technology dampens shock and vibration while offering high adjustability to achieve the perfect viewing angle.

The rectangular plate contains a 1.5" diameter rubber ball connected to a rectangular plate with a 4-hole pattern of 38.1mm x 88.9mm (1.5" x 3.5") centre to centre. Overall plate dimensions are 50.8mm x 101.6mm (2" x 4")

The round plate consists of a 1.5" diameter rubber ball connected to a flat 63mm / 2.5" diameter base. This mount has pre-drilled holes, including the universal AMPS hole pattern.

Q: What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?
A: Typically the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

Q: Will this work with the Helix 7 G4N?
A: Yes, the RAM-202-24-B-202U will accommodate the Humminbird Helix 7 G4N.

Q: Is a longer arm available for the Helix 7 double ball mount. And does the Helix 7 Gen4 fit the 6" swing arm mount?
A: Yes, the longer arm version of this mount is the RAM-202-24-202U. The Helix 7 Gen4 will not line up with any Swing Arm mounts, unless you are willing to drill additional holes in the bracket or mounting plate.
