The RAP-300-1U RAM® Power Plate™ III Universal Magnetic Holder is designed to hold various devices including radar detectors and cellphones. It is larger than the RAP-300U Power Plate II so can hold larger devices.


The magnetic plate includes two powerful rare earth magnets, composite cradle and one adhesive metal plate. To mount your device to the magnet, attach the metal plate to the back of your device. Includes a rectangular 50mm x 38mm x 0.08mm thick metal plate with adhesive back. Overall Plate Size is 79.5mm x 101.6mm (3.13" x 4")


To separate the device from the base plate just twist - so you can easily remove the detector while parked.

The 84mm (3.3") diameter suction cup twist lock base is designed to have a strong hold on glass and non-porous plastic surfaces, including RAM adhesive disks.

The LONG double socket arm and round base adaptor with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

The magnetic mount should NOT be used to hold any device that has an internal hard drive. The magnet may damage the drive. This includes the Apple iPod and other small battery operated devices.
