QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: Could the rod be cut down to a shorter size or would that cause a problem attaching the socket connectors? I'd like to use this with an action camera on a motorcycle but I'm concerned that 18" of flex rod might cause too much movement at speed.

A: The flex rod portion is simply a 1/2" aluminum rod so the length can certainly be cut down as needed. However, we do not recommend extensions like these to be mounted to a motorcycle or any applications that involve high speeds or extreme environments. For mounting cameras on a motorcycle we only recommend standard double ball mounts (Base + Arm + Camera Ball).
